30 Minute Scenic Helicopter Flight
Lift off from the heli-pad in Hoffnungsthal Valley and enjoy the scenic flight past the township of Lyndoch. Track along the western ridge of the Barossa Valley towards the historic Seppeltsfield. Admire the vineyards contouring the rolling hills, palm tree studded roads, and the Seppelt Family mausoleum.
Next, fly over Maggie Beer’s farm and the famous Penfold’s Winery, veering along the eastern side of Nuriootpa, around Wolf Blass winery, and marvel at the view over the large limestone quarry near Angaston.
Enjoy a bird’s eye view of one of the most beautiful horse racing studs in South Australia. From Angaston, experience an awe-inspiring 180-degree view of the Barossa Valley and beyond. Descend into the valley towards Tanunda, where your pilot will highlight historic buildings and settlements like Chateau Tanunda and Bethany.
Beyond Tanunda lies Rowland Flat, home of the famous Jacob's Creek. Witness some of Australia’s largest wine tanks, some holding up to 1.4 million litres each. The journey then takes you to the southern end of the Barossa, past Lyndoch, over the Barossa Goldfields and the Whispering Wall (the Barossa reservoir) before finally returning to the Hoffnungsthal Valley.
