Western Ridge & Valley Floor – 20 Minute Scenic Flight

Embark on an exclusive aerial journey through the heart of South Australia’s renowned wine country, starting from the picturesque Hoffnungsthal Valley.

Cruising past the charming township of Lyndoch, we veer right to fly along the western ridge of the Barossa Valley. Witness the vast plains of the mid-north region, adorned with contouring vineyards, rolling hills, and palm tree-lined roads leading to the historic Seppeltsfield Winery.

Continuing towards Nuriootpa, your pilot will highlight Maggie Beer’s farm and the iconic Penfold’s Winery. As we fly over Tanunda, marvel at the stunning old buildings of Chateau Tanunda and the numerous old churches dotting the landscape.

Heading further south, enjoy a panoramic view over Jacob’s Winery, home to some of Australia’s largest wine tanks, each capable of holding up to 1.4 million litres of wine. Marvel at the impressive scale of the Barossa Valley’s winemaking industry, showcased throughout this spectacular tour.

Concluding our journey, we head to the southern end of the Barossa, passing by the town of Lyndoch, the Barossa Goldfields, and the renowned Whispering Wall before returning to our base in the Hoffnungsthal Valley.
