Des Moines Skydivers

If this is your first jump, you'll be able to choose from two different methods. Both are approved by the USPA (United States Parachute Association) to ensure the highest level of safety.

Tandem

A tandem skydive is a great introduction into the exciting world of sport parachuting. It allows you to experience the incredible sensation of free fall and canopy flight while under the direct supervision of an experienced instructor. All of our instructors are USPA certified and licensed to make tandem jumps. Located at the scenic Knoxville airport, our drop zone is less than forty-five minutes from Des Moines.

AFF - Accelerated Freefall

Accelerated Freefall, or AFF, is the most advanced skydiving training program available. The program's name signifies its nature - an accelerated training program using only high altitude freefall jumps. All of your AFF jumps, including the first, will be made from over 9,500 feet. In as few as seven jumps, you can graduate from student status and be able to jump by yourself!
