Connecticut Parachutisits in Ellington
Welcome to the exhilarating world of skydiving at Connecticut Parachutists, Inc., where your adventure in the skies begins with our tandem skydiving experience. Designed as the perfect introduction for those aspiring to delve into solo skydiving programs, our tandem jumps stand out as the premier choice for novices seeking the thrill of their first leap. The training, concise and impactful, requires less than 30 minutes of your time, setting you on a swift path to your skydiving adventure.
On the day of your jump, the entire experience, from training to touchdown, is meticulously planned to occupy only a portion of your day, often just half. This efficiency ensures that your skydiving adventure fits seamlessly into your schedule, making the thrill of freefall more accessible than ever. During the tandem skydive, you and your instructor are securely harnessed together to a single, state-of-the-art parachute system, designed for two. Together, you'll step into the void from an awe-inspiring altitude of up to 2 miles high, sharing the adrenaline-pumping sensation of freefall before the canopy unfurls above you.
As the parachute opens, you transition from the rush of freefall to a serene descent, gliding under a vast canopy that offers dual controls. This unique setup allows you both shared and individual control over your descent, providing an unparalleled opportunity to learn the basics of canopy steering. Suspended over 4,000 feet above the ground, you're treated to a breathtaking panoramic view, a spectacular perspective where the earth stretches out beneath your dangling feet, offering a moment of tranquil beauty amidst the excitement of your jump.
