Experience the ultimate thrill of tandem skydiving at Skydive Atlanta, where safety is our top priority. We pride ourselves on providing a skydiving experience that is as safe as technology can make it, ensuring that you can enjoy every moment of your adventure with peace of mind.
At Skydive Atlanta, we use only the best equipment available in the industry. Our UPT Sigma tandem parachute systems are renowned for their reliability and performance, making them the top choice for tandem skydiving worldwide. Each system includes a main parachute, reserve parachute, and an onboard computerized Airtec CYPRES automatic activation device.
The Airtec CYPRES device is a state-of-the-art safety feature that adds an extra layer of protection to your skydiving experience. This innovative device is designed to automatically activate the reserve parachute if necessary, providing an added level of assurance in the unlikely event of a main parachute malfunction. With the Airtec CYPRES device onboard, you can rest assured that your safety is always our top priority.
In addition to our advanced equipment, we also adhere to strict maintenance and inspection protocols to ensure the continued safety and reliability of our parachutes. Our F.A.A. certified Master Parachute Rigger meticulously inspects and repacks each reserve parachute every 180 days, following industry-leading standards to maintain their integrity and performance.
Furthermore, the automatic activation device provides an added layer of safety by automatically deploying the reserve parachute if necessary. This ensures that even in the rare event of a main parachute malfunction, you will have a backup system in place to safely return you to the ground.
It's important to note that while the idea of a parachute malfunction may be concerning, the reality is that the failure rate of parachutes is extremely low, thanks to rigorous testing, quality control measures, and advanced technology. At Skydive Atlanta, your safety is our top priority, and we go above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of your tandem skydiving experience is as safe and secure as possible.
