San Bernardino Tandem Followed by Training Hill
It really is just that easy. The hardest part is turning your car into the parking lot on day 1. After that, it becomes the best thing you've ever done. Living the flying dream, but not waking up. We start on a small incline 10 feet high, jog down the slope and float the glider above you, steer it straight down the slope. From there, slowly advance higher up the hill, never beyond your ability. Slowly and safely, you acquire the skills you need to safely launch and land a hang glider. Never more than a few feet off the ground. Tandem instruction at altitude gets you valuable airtime with a skilled instructor to get you on the fast track learning to turn, navigate, read the conditions and plan your landing approach and landing on soft grass of the Airpark.
