Granite Via Ferrata
Join us for an unforgettable journey on Colorado Zipline’s updated Granite Via Ferrata adventure at our Buena Vista outpost! Just 1 hour and 15 minutes from Breckenridge, Summit County, and Vail, this unique climbing experience provides views of the incredible 14,000-foot Collegiate Peaks Mountain Range and the Arkansas River and its valley. As you navigate through the stunning mountaintops of the Colorado Rockies, your adrenaline will be in overdrive! This tour can last up to 3 hours and offers a more adrenaline-filled version of our Mount Blue Sky Via Ferrata in Idaho Springs, including a more extreme level of exposure.
On a Via Ferrata course, guests will clip in and out of cables, as they traverse along the cliff face, utilizing iron rungs, bars, and handholds to gain vantage points on the mountainside. The expedition begins with two ziplines to the course’s starting point, followed by a thrilling traverse across the granite cliffside. You will rappel down rock faces, ascend rugged crags, and cross multiple suspended bridges on this Granite Via Ferrata.
This course includes AVA’s latest and most thrilling feature: the Flight Line– a pulse-racing 78-foot freefall off the cliff face, offering unparalleled views of the scenic Buena Vista landscape throughout the stomach-dropping descent!
