Hot Air Balloon Rides in Tucson
Checking in at the Marana Airport, Tucson hot air balloon rides are offered in the morning daily, year-round. Similar to our Phoenix outfit, you can expect to take to the skies for approximately one hour, where you will soar thousands of feet in the air for a great overview of the valley, as well as low enough to just skim over the trees and cacti scattering the ground below. Up in the air your pilot will provide narrative on the history of the land below, point out landmarks, as well as educate you on plant life and desert flora on the ground below.
Upon landing, when your feet are firmly planted back on the ground, the bubbly is popped and chilled champagne is served for a traditional balloonist’s ceremony, a ballooning tradition dating back hundreds of years. Almost magically, tables and linens are set in the heart of the Sonoran Desert, and a continental breakfast is served. To conclude your Tucson hot air balloon ride, guests are inducted into the ballooning society and awarded the Certificate d’Ascension En Machine Aerostatique, a memento of your journey up, up and away.
