Your adventure begins at our office, where we will outfit you with boots, rain jackets, and gloves. Safety is our top priority, and we have been recognized by the Alaskan Division of OSHA for our meticulous attention to detail. Before the flight, you will receive a safety briefing, including instructions on how to safely enter and exit the helicopter and an overview of the safety features on board.

We use Robinson 44 helicopters, accommodating three passengers and a small backpack or handbag, ensuring everyone gets a window seat. For larger groups, we have multiple helicopters available and specialize in accommodating large families and tour groups. This tour is perfect for capturing stunning family photos and creating unique Alaskan holiday cards.

Once airborne, you will be amazed by the smoothness of the helicopter ride as you fly over a scenic braided river towards Godwin Glacier. Keep an eye out for otters and whales in the bay, and sometimes even bears and moose. You will fly over the toe of Godwin Glacier before entering a mountain valley to view Porcupine Glacier, Snake-Tongue Glacier, and Hawk’s Glacier.

The picturesque valley offers excellent opportunities for family photos. The helicopter will land near the base of one of these glaciers, depending on weather conditions, group size, and your preference. Upon landing, our pilots or guides will assist in taking photos of you as you explore the glacier. Enjoy posing in front of the glacier ice or making a snowball while taking in the breathtaking vistas.
